It came down to the last play that ultimately resulted in Delaware County Christian Knights being on the wrong end of a 6-5 defeat to Morrisville on Friday. The game was tied at five with Morrisville batting in the bottom of the eighth when Y Osorio singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.
Michaela Silva took the loss for the Knights. The right-hander allowed nine hits and six runs over seven and two-thirds innings, striking out 12.
J Loy got the win for Morrisville. The bulldog lasted four innings, allowing three hits and one run.
The Knights racked up eight hits. Heacock and Ritchie both had three hits to lead DC
